Dr. Thuc Moore was born in Melbourne, Australia and grew up in the town of Fort Mill, SC. She received her undergraduate degree at the College of Charleston in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She graduated summa cum laude from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN and is a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society and the American Optometric Association. Dr. Thuc Moore has a passion for science and health which are a few reasons that lead to her optometric career. She is dedicated to meeting the needs of her patients through compassion, patient education, and full-scope comprehensive eye care.
After graduation, Dr. Thuc Moore knew she wanted to practice in a rural area and be in the mountains leading her to Burnsville, NC with her husband, Chris, and their two dogs, Sunshine and Bubba. She enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, and finding great antiques!
